Family is something we take very seriously at ACH, because we know from experience that a child’s needs are best met in the context of a safe, healthy and happy family environment. And we see every foster care family as part of our ACH extended family. We are all in this together, working side by side to provide the children in our care the best possible environment to grow, succeed, and enjoy all the opportunities that life has to offer. In other words, we want to see children thrive, not just survive. And our foster parents play an integral role in making that happen.

We recognize our foster parents as professional caregivers and provide them with the technical and clinical support they need to succeed at the vital task of parenting the children in their care. As a foster care parent, you will be assigned to a Foster Care Specialist who will help you secure needed services for the child placed in your home. We will work with you every step of the way, providing expertise, experience and encouragement.
