Amber and Randy Meyers Foster Parents

Amber and Randy Meyers have been foster/adoptive parents since 2003. They joined ACH Foster Care in 2007. They have five beautiful children, ages 21 to 3, and an adorable two-year-old granddaughter. They currently have two foster children, ages 11 & 15, and recently adopted two brothers who have been in their home since prior to coming to ACH.

Amber says about her family, “The older kids and I love movies, the younger ones love the park. We have video games (of course) and like to play soccer. We have a zoo membership and show up there when the weather is nice. I have a lot of bookworms at the moment so we hang at the library a lot. The little ones play soccer and do gymnastics.”

She adds about fostering in general, “This is so hard and so very, very worth it. If you have the calling you just can’t ‘not’ do this job. On the days you want to quit, go back and look at notes from the days you soared above the clouds with your kids. The good always outweighs the bad.”
