By phone.

Call us at 817-886-7140. Just pick up the phone and talk to one of our Foster Care Recruiters. They’ll be happy to answer any of your questions and give you more information regarding the entire process – from start to finish.

Learning Lunches.

Join us at one of these informative sessions offered monthly throughout the year from 11:45 to 1:00 pm in the ACH Child and Family Services Administrative Building located at:

Optional, guided tours are offered after the presentation. No solicitation of donations is made at this lunch. We hope you will be able to join us.

Monday Meet & Greet.

These informal, but informative meetings take place on one of the following Mondays at 6:00 pm in the Robinett House located at:

3712 Wichita St.
Fort Worth, TX 76119 at 6 pm.

You’ll get to meet the ACH Foster Care staff and find answers to all of your questions, from licensing to day-to-day life as a foster care parent.

NOTE to Our Current Foster Families: If you know any families interested in becoming licensed with ACH Child and Family Services, this would be an excellent opportunity to get them started. Remember your $250 bonus when a family that you referred completes the licensing process!

After we review your application, we’ll call to schedule a visit to your home by one of our Foster Care staff members in order to provide further information about ACH Child and Family Services and to get you started on the road to becoming a Foster Parent.

Preliminary Application

Working Parents

We offer pre-service training several times throughout the year (including Saturdays and in the evenings) to accommodate working parents. We can even offer pre-service training during daytime hours if enough families express an interest.

Joint Information Meetings

We also offer Joint Information Meetings in your community designed to provide you with general information on the licensing process for foster care. Visit the DFPS website for more information on Joint Information Meetings, or ask one of our Foster Care Developer/Recruiters by calling 817-886-7169. They can also help you with any other questions you may have.
